First meeting of the Oregon Agricultural Heritage Commission

The Oregon Agricultural Heritage Program (OAHP) was established by the Oregon Legislature in 2017 to provide voluntary incentives to farmers and ranchers to support practices that maintain or enhance both agriculture and natural resources, such as fish and wildlife, on agricultural lands. The Oregon Agricultural Heritage (OAH) Commission oversees OAHP and makes funding and policy recommendations to the OWEB Board.

The OAH Commission will be appointed by the OWEB Board at their January 30-31, 2018 meeting. The newly appointed commission will meet for the first time February 1, 2018, 8:00am - 3:30pm, at Room 1868, 152 NW 4th St, Prineville, Oregon 97754. Oral public comment will be taken at a time to be specified in the forthcoming agenda.

Meeting dates, agendas, materials, and minutes will be posted on the OAHP webpage.

Contact OAHP Coordinator Nellie McAdams, (503) 986-0061, with any questions or with written comment.
