OWEB Announces: 2017-2019 Capacity Building TA FIP Program Grants

OWEB is excited to announce the 2017-2019 Capacity Building TA grants, funded through OWEB’s Focused Investment Partnership (FIP) program. Please review this email carefully as it contains important information about the application process and deadlines.

Purpose

Capacity-Building TA grant funding is intended to support existing partnerships in their pursuit of building their capacity to partner at a high-performing level, and/or generate a new strategic action plan or enhance an existing strategic action plan for an OWEB Focused Investment Priority. Additional activities this funding supports include community engagement and outreach related specifically to these efforts. This funding cannot be used for conducting new research, monitoring and/or assessments, or writing future FIP Implementation grant applications.

Note: Receipt of Capacity Building TA funding does not guarantee future Focused Investment Partnership Implementation funding from OWEB.

Solicitation Process

March 1 - April 30, 2017: Required OWEB consultation. All potential applicants must schedule a consultation with Courtney Shaff, OWEB's Capacity Coordinator. Consultations can be scheduled by emailing Kristi Cederburg at kristi.j.cederburg@oregon.gov.

June 12, 2017: Application deadline. Applications must be submitted via email using the most current application materials posted online. Applications must be emailed to oweb.grant.app@oregon.gov.

October 24-25, 2017: OWEB Board Meeting to award Capacity Building TA grants.
For applications to be accepted, all applicants must

  • Utilize the current application forms posted online;
  • Not request more than $150,000;
  • Participate in a consultation between March 1 - April 30, 2017; and
  • Email applications to OWEB at oweb.grant.app@oregon.gov before 5:00 pm on Monday, June 12, 2017.

Late applications will not be accepted!

Application Submission

  • Applications must be compatible with Adobe Acrobat XI
  • Maximum file size 20 MB
  • OCR recognizable if possible. More OCR information is available here.
  • Attach PDF application as one document, using the current application posted online; include one copy of color maps, photos, etc.
  • Pages with signatures should be a scan of the originals
  • If submitting more than one application, send each application by separate email
