The Secretary of State’s Translation Advisory Council will meet virtually on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6 pm, for a business meeting.

Council meetings are open to the public, but this meeting’s agenda does not include time to receive public comments. Members of the public with comments on the Council’s work can email TAC.info@sos.oregon.gov or submit feedback about translations via the Translations Feedback Form.
The Council was created to make recommendations to the Secretary on matters of translation prior to each election. Council members review translated voters’ pamphlet information to ensure translations are accurate and culturally appropriate. The Council is comprised of appointed members who have proficiency in one of the languages of translation.
