We have filed a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, including the Statement of Need and Fiscal Impact, with the Secretary of State’s Office. This will be published in the Oregon Bulletin on August 1, 2025. We have included a summary of the proposed administrative rule adoptions and amendments at the end of this notice.

Public meetings
We invite you to participate in the below virtual public hearing on the administrative rules listed at the end of this letter. This will be your opportunity to provide verbal feedback on the proposed rule changes.

Summary of Adopted Administrative Rules
166-150-0001, 166-150-0166, 166-150-0167: Combines and re-organizes certain rules in the County and Special District General Records Retention Schedule to account for current administrative, fiscal, legal, tribal cultural, and historical needs and requirements.
Summary of Repealed Administrative Rules
166-150-0025, 166-150-0100, 166-150-0105, 166-150-0115, 166-150-0135, 166-150-0145, 166-150-0150, 166-150-0175, 166-150-0180, 166-150-0190, 166-150-0195, 166-150-0210: Repeals the certain rules in the County and Special District General Records Retention Schedule due to reorganization, incorporating some contents into existing rules and others into newly adopted rules.
