 Listening Sessions on Implementation of
Contribution Limits (HB 4024)
The Elections Division will conduct a series of virtual public listening sessions ahead of implementation of HB 4024 (2024). The purpose of the listening sessions is to receive stakeholder’s thoughts on rule development and implementation of HB 4024. The Division is eager to hear stakeholder ideas and comments.
Virtual public listening sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Friday November 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM - Register Here
- Saturday November 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Register Here
- Monday November 18, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Register Here
- Tuesday November 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM - Register Here
- Thursday November 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM - Register Here
Registration is required and is limited to 35 attendees per session to ensure all attendees have an opportunity to provide their comments. The Division will schedule more sessions if needed.
Interested parties may also submit written comments via email to orestar-support.sos@sos.oregon.gov no later than November 27, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Additional Information
- The agenda will be the same for each session. Interested parties may register for more than one session as space allows.
- Division staff will not comment on whether a particular idea will be implemented. The purpose of these sessions is to gather information from a wide variety of stakeholders and the Division will consider all feedback.
- These sessions are focused on rule development. Specific technology changes and ORESTAR functionality will be the focus of future listening sessions.
