Announcing the Candidates for 2025 Oregon’s Kid Governor
We are pleased to announce the final candidates in the Statewide Election for Oregon’s Kid Governor!
The candidates and their platform topics are:
The candidates have created campaign videos outlining why they want to be the 2025 Oregon Kid Governor, what leadership qualities they have, what community issue is important to them, and a three-point plan on how Oregon 5th graders can make a difference around the issue. These videos will inform Oregon fifth grade voters in the Statewide Election.
The election begins November 4th and goes through November 12, 2024. All votes must be submitted by 5 p.m. on November 12th.
How to Vote in the Statewide Election
It’s not too late to register your class to vote in the Oregon Kid Governor Election!
Are you a 5th grade teacher and want to sign up to vote for the next Oregon Kid Governor?
Make sure to sign up here.
On November 4th, the classrooms who have signed up will receive a ballot for their students to vote for Oregon’s next Kid Governor. After the classroom has voted, the teacher will submit the vote total online at link provided by the Oregon Kid Governor coordinator.
The deadline for registering to vote is this Monday, November 4th at 5pm.
