FILING CAPTION: Proposes revisions to the rule designating National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) Agencies.
RULE SUMMARY: The changes proposed would designate the Indian Health Service, Western Oregon Service Unit (Chemewa Health Center) as a new voter registration site for purposes of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
CHANGES TO RULE: The proposed changes to OAR 165-005-0055 can be found at the State Archives Division's website and the Elections Division's website.
NEED FOR RULE: The changes proposed by this rule are needed to expand access to voter registration opportunities to Native Americans residing in Oregon.
