The Elections Division hereby provides notice of a permanent administrative order for OAR 165-007-0030. Prior to the effective date of the administrative rule, the Elections Division held a public hearing and accepted public comments.
FILING CAPTION: Amends Vote by Mail Manual, related procedures and requirements for conducting elections.
RULE SUMMARY: The changes to this rule and associated manuals and forms implement Senate bill 53 (2023) and Senate Bill 166 (2023). Changes were made throughout the manual to ensure that the requirements of these bills are met. Additional changes were made to the manual to update syntax where necessary.
