Intro to Oregon Public Records (Records Management 101)

This class will cover the basic legal framework for public records in Oregon including relevant laws and administrative rules governing access and retention. The instructor will go over new technologies and the basics of managing electronic records, and talk about new techniques to better manage public records.

Agency Records Officer Onboarding

Formerly known as "Records Officer Bootcamp," this class takes a deeper dive into records inventories, retention schedules, file plans, and managing an internal records management program. While specifically targeted at state agency records officers, professionals who are responsible for overseeing or coordinating records management programs at other levels of government will also find useful guidance to help them in their job.
