Announcing the Candidates for 2023 Oregon’s Kid Governor
We are pleased to announce the final candidates in the Statewide Election for Oregon’s Kid Governor!
The candidates and their platform topics are:
The candidates have created campaign videos outlining why they want to be the 2023 Oregon Kid Governor, what leadership qualities they have, what community issue is important to them, and a three-point plan on how Oregon 5th graders can make a difference around the issue. These videos will inform students’ voters in the Statewide Election.
The election opens November 7th and goes through November 15, 2022. All votes must be submitted by 5 p.m. on November 15th.

It’s not too late to register your class to vote in the Oregon Kid Governor Election!
The campaign video submissions are in and we have our candidates for Kid Governor! Are you a 5th grade teacher and want to sign up to vote for the next Oregon Kid Governor? You can do it here: https://forms.gle/MhBaQQytuFgvBoTx8
On November 7th, the classrooms who have signed up will receive a ballots for their students to vote for a nominee. After the classroom has voted, they will enter the ballots cast online for each candidate provided by your Oregon Kid Governor Statewide Coordinator.
The deadline for registering to vote is this Sunday, November 6th at 5pm.
