Financial Estimate Committee (FEC) Meeting Schedule
The FEC committee will meet this week to draft a financial estimate statement for Initiative Petition 57. Once the statement has been drafted, the Secretary of State’s office will hold a hearing to receive public comments on all draft financial impact statements for viable ballot measures. If a statement receives comments during the public hearing, the FEC must meet to review those comments and consider revisions to the statement. Interested parties may observe the FEC committee deliberations live via the Oregon State legislative website.

There will not be an opportunity to take public comment at this meeting. However, a public hearing will take place July 31, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. where we will receive public comment.
To submit written public comments email them no later than July 31 by 11 a.m. to elections.sos@oregon.gov. If you need special accommodation to submit comments, please call or email the Elections Division (contact below).
Information, drafts, and documents relating to the FEC will be shared on the Secretary of State’s website. There, anyone may sign up to receive electronic notifications about the FEC, including upcoming meetings.
