Financial Estimate Committee (FEC) Meeting Schedule
The FEC committee will meet this week to draft financial estimate statements for viable ballot measures. Once the statements have been drafted the Secretary of State’s office will hold a hearing to receive public comments on the draft financial impact statements. If a statement receives comments during the public hearing, the FEC must meet to review those comments and consider revisions to the statement. Interested parties may observe the FEC committee deliberations live via the Oregon State legislative website.

Public Information:
There will not be an opportunity to take public comment at this meeting. However, a public hearing will take place July 31, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. where we will receive public comment. Members of the public are encouraged to submit written public comment on the proposed drafts, which will be made available no later than the end of the day on July 27.

Information and documents relating to the FEC will be shared on the Secretary of State’s website. There, anyone may sign up to receive electronic notifications about the FEC, including upcoming meetings.
