Explanatory Statement
Appointments to the Explanatory
Statement Committee for Referral 401 were made by the Senate President, Speaker
of the House, and the Secretary of State. Appointments to the Explanatory
Statement Committees for Initiative Petitions 1, 19, 22, 25, 31, and 37 were
made by Chief Petitioners and the Secretary of State. This process begins now
to allow advanced scheduling. Only Referral 401 and Initiative Petition 37 are
currently certified for the election.
