Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
The word "complaint" is used in statutes for the Secretary of State's Office of Small Business Assistance; but it is not defined. The office is proposing rules that define the word and describe the procedures followed within the Office when a complaint is filed. The rules also describe protections for complainants and limitations of public disclosure by the Office and state agencies, boards and commissions.

A hearing regarding the proposed rules will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 The public is invited to attend or to submit written comments or questions regarding the proposed rules via email to Ruth.Miles@oregon.gov.
