Communications Director Alyssa Orlando Joins 

Secretary of State Executive Team

Salem, OR — Secretary of State Dennis Richardson announces the addition of a Communications Director to his Executive team.

“I'm pleased that Alyssa Orlando has joined our team,” said Richardson. “Alyssa comes to us with proven experience as a public relations and communications leader. I’m excited for the expertise and skill she will bring to the Office of Secretary of State.” 

For almost two decades, Alyssa has worked with respected companies such as Microsoft, Siemens, and Philips. She has extensive international experience and held various executive positions including Chief of Staff for Xbox and Director of Communications for Microsoft's Worldwide Public Sector and Microsoft Research.

Alyssa is a native Oregonian with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in Business Administration, International Business and Marketing.

“I look forward to working with Secretary Richardson and the media to help bring further transparency to both our office and our state government,” said Orlando.
