Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend at the recent Moda Center community pop-ups around each district and shared your feedback.

The City of Portland owns the Moda Center. We have a responsibility to understand what investments are needed to maintain this public asset while being good stewards of taxpayer dollars.

As Council continues discussing potential renovation options, I believe you all deserve clear information about costs, funding sources, and long-term benefits. I appreciate the thoughtful feedback we received and look forward to continuing the conversation as we work toward a solution that serves Portland's future.

I recently joined Tanvi with KATU 2 News to discuss the City's budget, public safety investments, and the priorities that matter most to East Portland.

During our conversation, I shared my concerns about emergency response staffing, police training resources, and the importance of ensuring residents continue to receive the services they rely on. I also discussed upcoming initiatives focused on traffic safety and community engagement.

🌟 District 1 Spotlight!

I would like to applaud the Division Midway Alliance for their impressive initiative in educating community members about pedestrian safety.
Their dedicated efforts to teach residents how to walk safely in these high traffic areas, particularly at the intersection of Division and 122nd, are commendable.

Through their Vision Zero best practices, they have pioneered a program that not only raises awareness but also empowers individuals with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves while navigating the streets.
