Next week, the Portland Water Bureau will be presenting one item related to the Bull Run Treatment Projects at the Portland City Council Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting:

Location: City Council holds hybrid public meetings, which provide for both virtual and in-person (City Hall, Council Chambers, 2nd Floor – 1221 SW Fourth Avenue, Portland, OR 97204) participation.
Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting agenda
In accordance with Portland City Code and state law, City Council holds hybrid public meetings, which provide for both virtual and in-person participation. Councilors may elect to attend remotely by video and teleconference, or in-person. The City makes several avenues available for the public to listen to and watch the broadcast of this meeting, including the City's YouTube Channel, the Open Signal website, and Xfinity Channel 30 and 330.
City Council welcomes public testimony. Members of the public must sign up in advance to comment on available agenda items during the meeting by completing the "Testify on this item" link on the council agenda or by calling 311. Registration for virtual testimony closes one hour prior to the Council meeting. In-person testifiers must sign up before the agenda item is heard. About the Bull Run Treatment Projects
To comply with federal Safe Drinking Water Act regulations, the Portland Water Bureau is planning a water filtration facility and related pipelines, and recently completed an improved corrosion control treatment facility. The Bull Run Treatment Projects will provide consistent, high-quality drinking water that meets today’s water quality standards, helps address aging infrastructure concerns and future risks and regulations, and improves system resilience to help keep our water safe and abundant for generations to come.
