Residents in the eligible, shaded areas of the map — as well as businesses, nonprofits, and their employees — may sign up for Zone V permits starting Sept 2. On-street parking inside is limited to 2 hours between 5-10 p.m. starting in October and now going year-round. Only those with Zone V permits may park beyond the 2-hour limit. PBOT uses a license plate-based system and does not issue physical permits. Apply, submit documents, pay, and manage your permits through our online permit system.

Upcoming Changes
A follow-up parking study in 2025 determined that the Zone V Permit Area is not operating effectively without using price to discourage eventgoers from driving and parking in Eliot.
PBOT will be expanding the Zone V Permit Area and will be charging visitors for parking during events. These changes are planned for Fall 2025. The sign changes are intended to reduce the number of event goers who drive to events by pricing parking and make enforcement more efficient.
For more information, please see the Zone V Permit Evaluation Memo.
Your parking permit will be valid and used the same way before and after the sign changes. PBOT will keep you updated through this newsletter.
