Do you live in District 3? If so, this coffee is for you! Tomorrow we will be holding our monthly constituent coffee. Monthly constituent coffees are a way to learn from fellow neighbors in District 3 about needs and opportunities, challenges and progress.

Budget Town Halls in District 3
A city’s budget should be an honest expression of its communities’ priorities. In order to live up to that idea, I am working to engage in as many ways as I can to learn from you and all our neighbors. Especially if you were unable to attend the last budget listening session in District 3, I hope you will be able to join an upcoming Budget Town Hall hosted by SE Uplift. There will be pizza! Please let Councilors Novick, Morillo, and me know your priorities. This is a family friendly event!

A Visit to Lane Middle School
On Wednesday, I was able to visit Lane Middle School and check out their SUN after school program. It was so great to see students learning how to fence, playing Dungeons and Dragons, playing basketball, and learning ceramics! They have an estimated 100 students signed up for their program this upcoming fall. SUN provides great opportunities for students at schools to learn new skills. It is a vital program for so many families!
Friends of Mt. Tabor Park
On Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining Friends of Mt. Tabor on a beautiful walk through Mt. Tabor to talk about our parks. Mt. Tabor holds a very special place in my heart. Our parks serve such a vital resource to the fabric of our community.
