Register for the Next Session of Winter Activities

Registration for classes starts Thursday, January 16, at 9:30am. This registration session is for activities starting February 10 to March 16. Check out winter activities in the online guide or pick up a printed program guide at any community or arts center. 

To register, visit any community center, call the Customer Service Center at 503-823-2525, or use the ActiveNet registration system. 

Indoor Pools Are Hiring Lifeguards Now 

Register for the January 25-28 Lifeguard Certification Class at Southwest Community Center. Certification is required for all lifeguard positions. Registration closes January 15. If the class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist and we will expand the class if we are able. Participants must be age 16 or older by first day of class. Once certified, candidates can apply for lifeguard positions at multiple locations.

Focus Group for Online Activity Search 

We believe that recreation is for everyone, so we’re working on more ways to to connect community with services. We are creating a new way to view and search for recreation activities online. You are invited to share your opinion in a focus group about the way information is listed and how we can improve your experience.

If you're interested in participating, please submit your name and email address via the Focus Group Interest Form and we will contact you with a list of possible sessions to sign up for. You will only need to attend one.
