We're Hiring a Communications Coordinator!

The Office of Arts & Culture is excited to announce an incredible opportunity to join our team as a Communications Coordinator! We are searching for a dynamic individual to help elevate public awareness of the City of Portland's investments in the arts.

What You'll Do:

• Craft compelling narratives that highlight the impact of arts and culture in our community.
• Develop and manage engaging content for our digital platforms, including our website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
• Lead strategic branding, messaging, and communications efforts to amplify our mission.

Who We're Looking For:

• Someone with 3-5 years of experience in communications or a related field, with a preference for those who have worked in an arts-focused nonprofit or creative business.
• A digital media whiz, adept at creating content that resonates across multiple platforms.
• A natural communicator whose expertise includes strategic branding, messaging, and communications, and is passionate about the arts.
