PBOT Lloyd to Woodlawn Neighborhood Greenway Project Update
Portland Bureau of Transportation sent this bulletin at 06/30/2023 04:00 PM PDT
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is continuing progress on various components of Phase 1 of implementation of the Lloyd to Woodlawn Neighborhood Greenway project. Over the next month, contractors will complete the 7th Avenue bike lane connection to the Earl Blumenauer Bridge. We will be adding bike lanes to NE 7th Avenue between NE Broadway and Tillamook Street and enhancing the bike lanes between NE Broadway and NE Weidler Street.
Changes to NE 7th Avenue On-Street Parking Once the new bike lane striping takes place, residents and visitors should expect changes to where they can park along NE 7th Avenue between NE Weidler and NE Tillamook Streets. The removal of the on-street parking will improve comfort and visibility for people traveling on NE 7th Avenue. Please respect the parking changes for the safety of all road users. About Lloyd to Woodlawn Neighborhood Greenway Project The Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) Lloyd to Woodlawn Neighborhood Greenway Project will expand the citywide low-stress walking and bicycling network in Northeast Portland by creating a safe and pleasant place to walk or bike to employment centers, neighborhood destinations, schools, and nearby parks.
