hollywoodHUB Development (6:15-6:40)
Catherine Sherraden and Libby Winter from TriMet will present to the committee refinements to this affordable housing project being planned for the Hollywood Transit Center. Of especial interest to the committee will be discussion about the stair/ramp design, access to the future Sullivan’s Gulch Trail, and cyclist mobility and access to and near the site. The proposal was recently considered at a July 7th hearing before Portland’s Design Commission. The BAC previously submitted feedback on this project in a July 2021 letter.

Current Maintenance Operations in regard to bicycle facilities (6:40-7:15)
Jody Yates, new group director at PBOT’s Maintenance Operations (MO), and David Mulvihill, new manager for Maintenance Construction, will discuss with the BAC maintenance operations and challenges in regard to bicycle facilities. This will be an opportunity for the BAC to work with MO leadership to solve problems associated with declining maintenance resources and increasing transportation infrastructure.

Sunday Parkways (7:15-7:40)
Renata Tirta, Manager of PBOT’s Active Transportation Programs, will talk about the successes and challenges of extending the city’s popular Sunday Parkways program to all of Portland's neighborhoods.
