Timbers' fans: Consider taking TriMet, walking, biking, or rolling to Saturday’s home game; event rate parking in effect
 (June 25, 2021) With the Portland Timbers returning to 80% capacity for their home game on Saturday, June 26, at 8 p.m. the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is reminding Timbers fans to consider their transportation options for all games this season in order to keep streets and transit running smoothly.
Fans are encouraged to take TriMet, walk, ride, roll or stroll to the game. Ample bike parking is available at Providence Park. People who drive are encouraged to park in one of the PBOT’s SmartPark garages or use the mobile parking app Parking Kitty to pay for on-street parking within Portland’s event parking district.
Event rate pricing of $4 per hour will be in effect at Event District parking meters from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Learn more about public parking in Portland online at www.portland.gov/transportation/parking/parking-guide.
With the high temperatures forecasted this weekend, all travelers are advised to avoid being outdoors between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Never leave children or pets in a vehicle and make sure you keep yourself and your loved ones hydrated.
Northwest neighborhood event Zone M permit parking restrictions also will be in effect from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
