N Denver Avenue now open in both directions

The N Denver Avenue paving project is funded by Fixing Our Streets, the first local funding source in Portland’s history dedicated exclusively to the city’s transportation needs

(Nov. 12, 2019) Yesterday, the Portland Bureau of  Transportation's (PBOT) contractor successfully completed paving the northbound lanes of N Denver Avenue from Lombard to Watts streets. This completes the paving phase of this project and N Denver Avenue is now permanently back open in both directions. With the paving complete, both lanes of travel are now open to pedestrians and people biking and driving. The final stage of the project is striping and signage. Restriping this segment will allow for curb-tight parking and buffered bike lanes per the plan shared with the neighborhood in December of 2018. The striping is currently scheduled for this Thursday, Nov. 14. This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change. Curious what the final street will look like?
