Flanders Bikeway Project
The Flanders Bikeway will improve conditions for bicycling and walking by upgrading crossings of busy streets and connecting new and existing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. NW Flanders Street will connect Gov. Tom McCall Waterfront Park to Northwest neighborhoods and provide direct access to a new bridge over I-405. Specific operational elements have not been determined yet. Please look at the project map and graphics for proposed ideas. The project is funded primarily by $2.4 million from transportation system development charges (TSDCs).
