The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has lined up community and PBOT-hosted events to encourage residents to get out and explore the newly-improved corridor. Details about those activities will be shared at tomorrow's event. Funding for the $9 million Foster Road project came from the Fixing our Streets Program, the Lents Town Center Urban Renewal District, Portland Transportation System Development Charges and a federal grant. What: Transportation Commissioner Chloe Eudaly, Transportation Director Chris Warner and representatives of the Foster Area Business and Neighborhood Associations, the Portland Mercado and Hacienda CDC, and Prosper Portland will celebrate the completion of the Foster Transportation and Streetscape Project.
