(Sept. 14, 2017) Tomorrow, Friday, September 15, Portland architect and design
firms, non-profits and others will participate in international Park(ing) Day
with interactive public spaces in parking spots located throughout downtown
Portland and Lloyd Center. There will be a wide array of activities, visual
arts and really awesome places to sit and enjoy our beautiful city.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) invites you to visit these displays of Portland’s
creativity. Use the map below to chart your path and find out more about each
installation. When you see something that inspires you, let others know by sharing on social media with the hashtags #pbotparkingday and #portlandinthestreets.

Park(ing) Day is an internationally recognized day to creatively re-envision parking spaces from their usual use for parked cars into a creative placemaking “parks” for the day.
