Adaptive BIKETOWN Kick-off Event and Ride on July 21st

Join us for the celebration and bike ride!

When: Friday, July 21st 

Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Where: The event will start at Kerr Bikes (OMSI location at 1945 SE Water Ave., Building B., near the Esplanade) and then there will be a ride to Different Spokes (423 SE Ivon St.)

What: Kick-off Party for the Adaptive Bicycle Rental Pilot Project

Program to include: 

  • Speeches from Commissioner Saltzman; PBOT Director Leah Treat; Jeff Carr, Albertina Kerr Center CEO; and Jeremy Robbins, PBOT Adaptive Bike Work Group community member. 
  • A ride from Kerr Bikes to Different Spokes - so if you are interested in riding, please bring your adaptive bicycle and ride with us. (There may be a few bikes available for use, but will require a fitting prior to the event.) 
  • Light refreshments at Different Spokes at the end of the ride
  • Celebration and Fun!!
