City extends parking meter amnesty until 8 a.m. Friday
(Dec. 15, 2016) The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) extends its parking meter amnesty for cars legally parked in City meter districts. To encourage people to leave their cars legally parked and take other means of transportation out of the central city, PBOT will allow cars to remain parked in City meter districts without penalty until 8 a.m. on Friday Dec. 16. Meter districts will resume normal operation at that time.
