View PERS Expo agenda, choose sessions
The annual PERS Expo is tomorrow, October 1. It runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific with sessions throughout the day that last 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Members need only attend the sessions in which they are interested.
PERS members can view the agenda online now, select the sessions they want to attend, and add them to their calendar.
Adding sessions to your calendar
1. Go to the PERS Expo registration page. If you have not registered for PERS Expo, click Register here! If you have registered, enter your email address and click ENTER.
2. On the expo webpage, read the All Sessions panel on the right. Scroll down to view the full schedule. Click read more under a session to learn more about it and its speaker(s).
3. In that pop-up window, click the down arrow next to Add to Calendar and choose your email application. For Outlook, this opens an appointment window. In the appointment window, click Save & Close to add it to your calendar. (Steps may vary depending on your settings.) The appointment will contain a description and link to join the session tomorrow.
4. In the same pop-up window, click the bookmark symbol next to ON MY AGENDA. The symbol next to that session on the agenda turns orange to show you which sessions you plan to attend.
If you cannot attend
Don’t worry if you have to miss a session. A recording of each one (except Social Security) will be posted on the expo website, along with checklists and recordings, until the end of the year.
