The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is currently recruiting members for the Nursery Program Advisory Committee. This committee serves an important role in advising and consulting with the department on the administration of statutes related to Oregon’s nursery industry, including ORS 564.040, 564.991, and 571.005 to 571.230 and 571.999. In addition, the committee is tasked with reviewing the nursery inspection program as outlined in ORS 571.025 (State Research & Regulatory Committee).
Committee Structure and Term Information:
There are seven positions currently open. Each position carries a three-year term following the completion of the initial partial term. The partial terms are as follows:

Positions 1 and 2: Partial term ending 06/30/2026(Next full 3-year term: 07/01/2026 – 06/30/2029)

Positions 3 and 4: Partial term ending 06/30/2027(Next full 3-year term: 07/01/2027 – 06/30/2030)

Positions 5, 6, and 7: Partial term ending 06/30/2028(Next full 3-year term: 07/01/2028 – 06/30/2031)

El Departamento de Agricultura de Oregón (ODA) está reclutando miembros para el Comité Asesor del Programa de Viveros. Este comité desempeña un papel importante en el asesoramiento y la consulta con el departamento sobre la administración de los estatutos relacionados con la industria de viveros de Oregón, incluyendo ORS 564.040, 564.991 y 571.005 a 571.230 y 571.999. Además, el comité se encarga de revisar el programa de inspección de viveros, según lo descrito en ORS 571.025 (Comité Estatal de Investigación y Regulación).
Estructura del Comité e Información sobre la Duración del Cargo:
Actualmente hay siete puestos vacantes. Cada puesto tiene un mandato de tres años tras la finalización del periodo parcial inicial. Los periodos parciales son los siguientes:
- Puestos 1 y 2: Periodo parcial que finaliza el 30/06/2026 (Próximo periodo completo de 3 años: 01/07/2026 – 30/06/2029)
- Puestos 3 y 4: Periodo parcial que finaliza el 30/06/2027 (Próximo periodo completo de 3 años: 01/07/2027 – 30/06/2030)
- Puestos 5, 6 y 7: Periodo parcial que finaliza el 30/06/2028 (Próximo periodo completo de 3 años: 01/07/2028 – 30/06/2031)
