Capacity Building Grant Program Webinar

Grant Webinar

Oregon has allocated $2 million in grant funding to expand the capacity of Oregon meat processors for livestock raised in Oregon. Applicants may request up to $500,000 for equipment, physical improvements, technical assistance, and education/training to achieve this goal. The grant is open to:

Meat processors that are currently under USDA inspection
Other existing meat processors planning to come under the new State Meat Inspection Program
New meat processing businesses planning to come under the new State Meat Inspection Program
