Grant Webinar
Oregon has allocated $2 million in grant funding to expand the capacity of Oregon meat processors for livestock raised in Oregon. Applicants may request up to $500,000 for equipment, physical improvements, technical assistance, and education/training to achieve this goal. The grant is open to:
- Meat processors that are currently under USDA inspection
- Other existing meat processors planning to come under the new State Meat Inspection Program
- New meat processing businesses planning to come under the new State Meat Inspection Program
