July Educator Externships
NWRESD's Career & College Readiness team alongside NW STEM Hub is working with Clatsop and Tillamook County to provide a multi-day externship experience for educators. The externships span from July 24th through July 27th covering career areas such as natural resources, construction, health occupations, and agriculture. Educators will receive a $250 stipend for attendance.
Register to attend one or all of these externships in Clatsop and/or Tillamook County.

- In-person, 6-hour long experiences (roughly 8AM - 2PM)
- High-wage, in-demand career focus
- Provided lunch and educator collaboration time
- Multiple facility tours each day to include local industry and/or post-secondary programs
- Employee panel discussions
- HR information on workforce trends, hiring/recruiting practices, and in-demand skills
- Participants will receive a $300 stipend.

If you are planning to teach Junior Achievement curriculum next year, join the CCR team for a Fall training to get familiar with the content. Training dates are TBD.
CCR Bi-Annual Collaborative
Do you often feel like you are isolated and on your own island in your work? Join the CCR team as we host our first career & college collaborative. We want to bring together CTE teachers, career counselors, school counselors, and the like to collaborate and learn from each other.
