Join Medford Fire for Fire Prevention Week! We're hosting Open House Events on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9. Come out to your local station for station and engine tours, meet firefighters, learn about fire safety, participate in fun activities and more!
The Council Community Initiative Funds are designed to address key community needs and support local initiatives that enhance the quality of life in Medford.
 We are proud to display the new Rogue X sculpture! This amazing artwork was created locally for our community, and highlights the fun activities at Rogue X and the beautiful nature surrounding Medford.
 This year's International ShakeOut Day is October 17, when millions of people worldwide will participate in earthquake drills at work, school, or home!

In case a flood strikes our area, remember – turn around, don’t drown. Here are some safety tips to keep in mind:

Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters.

Do not touch electrical equipment if it is wet or if you are standing in water.

Evacuate (if told to do so) and find safe shelter right away.
Enjoy bounce houses, food trucks, games, and a costume contest at Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities' Howl-O-Ween Party! Don't miss the fun on October 25 from 5:30-8:30 PM!
Drop off your unused, outdated and unwanted prescription drugs at the City Hall parking lot on Saturday, October 26 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
MPD's Trunk or Treat event will be at City Hall from 4 PM to 6 PM on October 31. Bring out the family and enjoy goodies from your local police department!
