Welcome to the first edition of Marion County Dog Shelter Dog Tracks newsletter. The Dog Tracks newsletter will strive to provide important information about keeping dogs safe, how the community can participate in Dog Shelter events, the great work of our volunteers, and much more!

Marion County Dog Services operates Marion County's Dog Shelter, located in Salem with the mission of serving and protecting dogs and communities throughout Marion County. The staff members are tasked with enforcing Marion County dog licensing and control ordinances; promoting humane treatment of dogs; providing shelter and care for lost dogs until they are reunited with their families or adopted; educating residents on quality dog care; and providing excellent customer service.

Thank you for joining us.

Thank You!

Our volunteers are important to us; they provide essential help with a variety of much needed assistance with shelter tasks.

Warren shows the multifaceted science, the rigorous training, and the skilled handling that underlie the amazing abilities of dogs who work with their noses.
