In a comparison of all 50 states, Oregon came in 46th place on WalletHub’s list of best states to find a job. 
They evaluated each state based on both the job market and economic environment. The methodology weighed factors like job opportunities, employment growth and job security. They even factored in work-related stress tweets and the availability of internships.
Metrics used to assess each state’s economic environment included median annual income as well as state-income tax burdens, share of workers living in poverty, commute time and more.
