Rep. Court Boice Addresses 700 People, Charlie Kirk Tribute In Roseburg

Representative Court Boice Speaks to 700 Patriots - Charlie Kirk Vigil/Tribute - Roseburg, September 15th. If you're short on time, please consider viewing the 30-second bagpipe tribute to Charlie Kirk. It will move you.

This was one of the greatest honors of my entire life. I'm proud of every single person who took the time to attend, support, and pray. This is not a good-bye to Charlie Kirk - it is a 'Turning Point'. Douglas County is, in my view, the 'Hub of Hope' for returning Oregon to normal!

Some people wonder why I and our conservative colleagues put ourselves out there and commit to work against the insanity in Salem.

The evil that exists throughout our state and country must be constantly challenged and soundly defeated.

We cannot be timid about calling evil for what it is! Our kids and generations that follow are counting on us to sacrifice, serve, make the tough decisions, and work 24-7 to improve the lives for all! Read my statement below.

Representative Court Boice Statement On The Tragic Assassination Of Charlie Kirk

For Immediate Release
Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2025
Contact: Britt Boice, Chief of Staff
Britt.Boice@oregonlegislature.gov

SALEM, Ore. – Representative Court Boice (R-Gold Beach) released the following statement in response to the assassination of one of America’s beloved and brightest conservative Leaders, Charlie Kirk:

“The murder of Charlie Kirk is a tragic, devastating, and appalling act of violence. He was only 31 years old. No American should be targeted for their beliefs, and no family should have to endure this kind of loss. Political differences must never justify violence. My prayers are with Charlie’s family, his loved ones, and all who are grieving. We must stand together as a nation to reject hate and defend our freedoms.”

Wildfires Impact the Paradise Wilderness Lodge General Area on Rogue River

Heartbreaking – My family and I owned and operated Paradise Lodge at this gorgeous Rogue River location for over 30 years. (1973 – 2007).

Community leaders, volunteers, and firefighters immediately jumped to action to salvage what they could. I'm proud of our constituents: their willingness to help their fellow man, and their outstanding courage in the face of danger.

We still have at least a month to go, however, the Firefighters are doing a fantastic job. The fire has not grown in several days but due to the incredibly rugged terrain the fire is only 6% contained. The Rogue Canyon wilderness is in very good hands. I'll be sending out future reports as Fire Levels require.

Brock Smith and Boice Assist in 3.8 million For Curry County Cape Blanco Airport

A proud moment for both myself and Senator Brock Smith. We've worked tirelessly with community leaders to secure funding for the Cape Blanco State Airport's new runway and updated electrical systems, and were overwhelmed by the support - we achieved $3.8 million in funding!

The Oregon Department of Aviation has done a superb job and we are grateful for the work completed on Curry County's unique Mile Long Airport. This work has varying benefits, but first is Emergency Readiness for all of our Southwest Oregon Region. I also want to extend gratitude to Curry Commissioner Hollinger.

Pictured below are the both of us with Oregon Department Of Aviation Dav Director Kenji Sugahara and Assistant Director Anthony Beach at the ribbon cutting ceremony. We're overjoyed to have played a part in this asset to Oregon.
