The weather service has issued a heat advisory in effect from noon Tuesday to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Tuesday high temperatures will range from 93° to 96° across Washington County. Wednesday morning low temperatures will struggle to get down to the mid-60s, offering minimal relief to those without air conditioning. Wednesday high temperatures are expected to reach 100° in some areas. A modest cooling trend starts Wednesday night into Thursday, with morning lows 60-63° and afternoon highs in the low to mid-90s. Moderate heat risk is expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
