You’ve heard it a hundred times by now. Once more won’t hurt.
If you haven’t already, do this: sit down with your election ballot, open up the Voters Pamphlet or any other info you need, fill in one oval completely on every voting line, seal it in the special envelope. Get it in regular mail (where it has to travel to Portland on its way to the County Clerk in Medford) not later than this Thursday. The other choice is to drop it into one of those official steel ballot boxes at these locations no later than next Tuesday, November 5, at 8pm. But earlier in the day is better, if only to ration your stress; you’ll have more than enough of that later that evening and in the days to follow.
If you’re someone inclined to read this newsletter, you probably don’t need a pep talk about how important your vote is. But all of us get detoured from time to time, so please…don’t forget. Don’t delay. Vote.
