The Legislature’s Joint Interim Committee on Transportation is in the middle of conducting a 12-stop statewide tour to hear public comment concerning the upcoming Legislative Transportation package for the 2025 session. This is likely to be a multi-billion dollar package and will help set the transportation priorities in Oregon for the next decade.
The next nearest stop on this tour is this Thursday, August 8th, in Medford.
Your Opportunity To Speak
If you would like to give in-person testimony to Legislative committee members, the public hearing will be from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, August 8th at the Jackson County Expo Center, Mace Building 1 Peninger Street Central Point, OR 97502.
If you wish to testify, you must register 24 hours in advance. You can also submit written testimony in lieu of appearing in person. Click here for details on how to register or submit written testimony. If you register and appear in person, you will be given two minutes to speak before the committee.
The next nearest opportunity to testify in person will be September 12th in Bend. Please let my office know if you have any questions.
