Opportunities for BusinessesGrant Applications Open for $8 Million to Support Economic Equity Business Oregon is now accepting applications for the Economic Equity Investment Program, offering $8 million in grants to culturally responsive organizations. The program aims to promote economic advancement in historically marginalized communities. Applications are open until August 30, 2024, with awards announced in fall 2024.
Organizations can apply under two tracks: one for additional funding for existing projects and one for new initiatives. Funds must be spent by June 30, 2025, on areas like land ownership, business development, workforce training, and wealth-building programs.

Families can apply as long as at least one person in the household qualifies. All applicants must meet the standard income qualifications and live in Washington County.
