I'm back now from my post-session travels with family and will be resuming the newsletter soon. Again, I'm not planning to do regular reporting on COVID in Oregon for now but will share information as needed. Here's a recent update on COVID in Oregon from the Oregon Health Authority.

The main purpose of this newsletter is to let you know that I'll be holding our next constituent coffee this Saturday. Here are the details:
Next Constituent Coffee August 5
This coming Saturday, August 5, is the first Saturday in August, and that means time for another constituent coffee, the first of the interim.
We’ll be back (with coffee and cookies) at the Hollywood Senior Center, 1820 NE 40th Avenue (from 9 am to 10:30 am).
This will be an opportunity for me to debrief with you on the 2023 session, take a look at what did and did not make it through the session, give you a sense of the ongoing issues that are out there as we prepare for the short session in February/March 2024, and answer any questions that you might have.
We’ll also have a zoom option for the meeting to accommodate those who cannot be there in person. (Register for Zoom access here)
