Amy Fifth-Lince, social studies and economics teacher from Liberty High School, has been recognized by the Oregon State Treasurer as the Financial Empowerment Educator of the Year. She received nine nominations for the award, most of them from her students. Her personal finance class includes information on banking, budgeting, renting a house, moving expenses, credit cards, credit scores, and much more.
Ms. Fifth-Lince is an incredible educator who is giving her students the knowledge to make sound financial decisions for the rest of their lives. I am so grateful that she is teaching our youth in District 30!
