Over half way done

Representative Virgle Osborne

Friends,

We have passed the halfway point in the legislative session and quickly heading towards the end - sine die - on June 25. And despite reaching this point, there are many bills of concern that have alredy passed the Oregon House or will be up for a third reading (the final reading and vote).

HB 3148 Clears the House

My search and rescue bill, HB 3148, expedites the investigative subpoena process and gives law enforcement for tools to find missing people. As a member of the Douglas County Search and Rescue team for 20 years I have executed countless searches. I know that getting as much information as possible is key to saving lives. I would not have been able to get this key legislation passed the first hurdle without help from Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin and Lt. Brad O'Dell.

HB3148-Osborne

Oregon Republican Leadership on HB 2002-A

House Republican Leader Breese-Iverson and Senate Republican Leader Knopp issued a joint statement on HB 2002-A making its way out of the Joint Ways and Means Committee. HB 2002-A is the most extreme abortion and gender-altering bill the United States has ever seen.

Joint statement on HB2002A

Sincerely,

Representative Virgle Osborne
