Dear Neighbors, Friends and Family,
I am so excited to be writing to you as your new Representative of House District 38! This past month has been full of learning new issues and connecting with each and every one of you to ensure that I am doing my part in representing you.
To introduce myself to you all I felt like you should know my background. I am a son of Vietnamese refugees who came to the United States in 1975. I was born and raised in Camas, Washington. My wife and I are proud, local, small business owner and have founded and operate Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen, located in the South Waterfront community since 2008. I was elected to the Lake Oswego City Council in 2018, the first person of color elected to serve on City Council.
I also serve as a community volunteer as Director on several organizations' boards - Immigration Counseling Service Business for a Better Portland and Co-Chair of PCC School of Business & Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee
With that said, as you may know our district was recently redrawn. Due to this there may be people on this list who are no longer part of our district and while we are sad to see you go, I want to make sure you have the resources to find your new representative. Below are some resources you can utilize to find your representatives and please make sure you reach out to them with any concerns or questions. Thank you for everything District 38!
