On January 9th, I will be sworn into my first full term as State Representative for House District 44. I look forward to the opportunity to represent North and Northeast Portland. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about my upcoming legislative town hall and my legislative priorities for the upcoming session.
Join Our Legislative Town Hall
I would like to invite all of my constituents to attend a legislative town hall next Tuesday, January 10th. I am excited to join my colleagues who are now representing parts of Cathedral Park and St. Johns after redistricting.
My Legislative Priorities
- Addressing the needs of the healthcare workforce
- Recruitment and retention of healthcare workers, which includes addressing bottlenecks in the pipeline for new nurses
- Workers' rights
- Consumer protections
- Protecting mental health needs
- Finding solutions to make healthcare accessible for all Oregonians
House Democrat Caucus Agenda
- Taking steps to address the houselessness & affordable housing crisis
- Supporting working families and small businesses
- Driving down the cost of living
- Taking on the mental and behavioral health crisis
- Investing in community safety and gun violence prevention
- Championing stronger schools
