BottleDrop Project

HB 3100  Increases number of beverage containers returned by any one person during one day that dealer that occupies a space of 5,000 or more square feet must accept and pay refund value for.

I introduced this bill to put pressure on the Oregon Beverage and Recycling Cooperative (OBRC) to make bottle and can redemption more accessible on the Coast. OBRC decided to work with me to bring a BottleDrop redemption center to Florence in May, and they are currently working on another location. There was no longer a need to move forward with HB 3100 and I am pleased that BottleDrop is becoming more accessible to coastal communities!

Between now and then, I look forward to visiting will many of you as I travel around the district. Take care, stay safe, and hope to see you soon!
