Friends,
Now that the 2021 legislative session is behind us, I’m writing to let you know about two town halls coming up in the first week of August. I'm collaborating with Eugene- and Springfield-area legislators to hold our first in-person event since early 2020 at Alton Baker Park. And by popular demand, I will also be hosting an online town hall via Zoom. After a year of pandemic, weather events, wildfires, and an eventful legislative session, there will be no shortage of topics to discuss.
Join me and a group of local state representatives and senators for a town hall in the park. We’ll be gathering at Alton Baker Park in Eugene on Tuesday, August 3rd, at 6:30 p.m.
The event will take place at one of the picnic shelters near Day Island Road on the west side of the park. There will be picnic tables available for seating, and there is accessible parking nearby. You can find more information on my legislative website.
I will also be holding an online town hall on Saturday, August 7th, at 2 p.m. Over the course of the pandemic, I have heard from many constituents that they prefer tuning in to my town halls from the comfort of their own home.
Please RSVP at bit.ly/JulieFaheyTownHall, and we will send you the call-in information shortly before the event.
Whether it's in the open air or on a computer screen, I hope to see you in August!
