 With Oregon receiving a sixth congressional district, having equal representation in the House Committee on Redistricting is of the utmost importance as the location is yet to be determined! But the most important thing is that YOU have a say in where this 6th congressional district should be! The House Redistricting Committee will be listening to public input throughout the process.
 Yesterday, Governor Brown announced 15 counties will be moving back into the extreme risk category on April 30th. Unfortunately, much of this decision is due to the inadequate vaccine access over the past several months. Our small businesses have gone above and beyond to safely stay open and follow safety measures. Poor management to distribute the vaccine is now once again burdening our communities and small business owners.
 The Small Business Administration will begin accepting applications May 3 for a $29 billion grant program aimed at boosting the restaurant industry, according to the agency.
The program, officially known as the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, is the first federal pandemic aid exclusively for restaurants, bars and other food-service businesses. It was authorized by Congress as part of its $1.9 trillion coronavirus-aid package that became law last month, and will be a key source of aid to an industry that has been hard hit by the pandemic.
Businesses can begin applying for these funds on Friday, April 30.
